Artemis knows she's been kind of jumpy in general lately - and with good reason, she maintains. She still doesn't quite know how this place (this time?) works, and she's definitely not confident that revealing her true nature is a good idea. So instead she just keeps looking for information, figuring out what to do, and trying to stay under the radar.
She's sitting on a bench with her hands shoved into the pockets of her sweater (retrieved from a dumpster, it didn't take her long to realize that her usual attire would stick out like a sore thumb), staring blankly at the sidewalk in front of her as she flicks through news sites in her processor, when she notices that something is wrong. Specifically, she's not the only one on this connection.
It could easily just be some human, with no ill intent, who just happened to find and manage to connect to it, but what if it wasn't? For all she knows, considering how little she knows about how the network works here, someone with enough knowledge could glean all sort of information from this... okay probably not. Maybe not. She still doesn't like it.
She lifts her gaze from the ground and sends a single data ping to the second user, trying to look around discreetly for any reaction from any of the people around.
